Today’s show features BT (Bill Tyrrell) from Rumors Sports Bar & Casino discussing a sold-out trading cards and memorabilia show at the Alerus Center this Saturday (10 AM–3 PM). The event includes 75 tables across 41 vendors with sports cards, Pokémon, vintage cards and collectibles — admission is free.
Listeners learn tips for buying, selling and valuing items (vendors often check collections on site; high-end cards can reach several thousand dollars; PSA grading backlog affects turnaround). Vendors commonly accept Venmo/PayPal and may offer on-the-spot cash deals.
The episode also highlights upcoming events: a major memorabilia show on January 30 with autographed jerseys and limited tickets (200), a February show on Feb. 27, Rumors’ $1,000 weekly bingo giveaway, bus trips to games and local community fundraisers.
